They’re great and efficient at getting everything taken care of, diagnosed, and out the door. Getting a hold of anyone outside of your appointment is a headache. This has been the same experience for both my husband and I. Getting a copy of prescriptions, picking up contacts/glasses or talking to anyone is a nightmare. If we physically go in when we don’t receive phone calls or emails back we get met with attitude and dismissed. Their communication is horrid and whatever system they’re using for voicemails/text messages doesn’t work. If you’re okay with no communication after you’ve made your appointment and don’t need to pick up anything then I highly recommend this location.

Sadly, my last visit to Dr. Green didn’t seem as great as my very first visit to Green Eye Associates.. Firstly, Dr. Green is wonderful, even the front desk and her assistant were very pleasant, including Dana!However, I cannot say the same for the optical area, I’m not even sure how to describe my experience, I just know that the gentleman (Chris) that helped me was very rude and arrogant.. supposedly he was holding a frame for me and when I came in to try them out, he sold them to someone else so he said he ordered another frame and would contact me when they came in.. it’s been months and I haven’t heard anything, very unprofessional and definitely makes Green Eye Associates look bad.Secondly, It’s a good thing that I opted for contacts this time too!! Alyssa and Ali are both a pure delight to work with!! Thank you both for EVERYTHING!

Appreciated the assistance given on the first day of using contact lenses. Installation and removal of contact lenses was challenging. Left with contact lens in and it was comfortable and vision was clear. $70 charge for support.Was told to return for additional support if I needed it, which I appreciated. Wasn’t clear if I needed an appointment or not for additional support or there was going to be a charge.Call this morning- the conversation didn’t go so supportive-Don’t know if a contact lens made it into my eye yesterday, clawed around irritating my eye so I was hoping someone at your office could look at my eye and tell me if a lens was in or not.An appointment was offered and explained I was going to need to pay $30.

I found out about Green Eye Associates from Google reviews. It is close to my home and I saw glowing reviews about the courteous attentiveness of the staff and of Dr. Green. My experience was the exact same. There was hardly any lag time during transitions and any wait was fine because of the peaceful, beautiful atmosphere. Dr. Green truly was patient, knowledgeable, professional and energetic. She listened to my concerns and addressed them all.After the exam, they offer different plans whether if you have insurance or not, which was a plus. There's no high pressure to sell glasses afterwards...just patient help. Tracy, Randa, Alyssa and Dr. Green were amazing! I highly recommend you giving Green Eye Associates your business. It's a doctor/patience relationship worth cultivating.

I had a great experience with Green Eye! The front desk staff was great, and I saw Dr. Pratt for my exam. The space was nice, inviting, cozy, and so well decorated! I arrived a little early for my appointment (I was a new patient, so I expected paperwork!), but since I had completed my paperwork online, I basically had no wait at all! The whole process was quick, smooth, and easy. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!!

I originally went to see Dr Green because my original Eye Dr said he could see cataracts forming. I definitely needed a second opinion on that. Dr Green did not see any and five years or so later there are still none. My eyes don’t even get dilated there. I’m so glad of that. She and all of her associates are very nice. I highly recommend Green Eye Associates.

I enjoy visiting this office because of the friendly staff and doctors. However, I'm disappointed with my recent experience during an eye examination. I specifically wanted to purchase my usual contacts, but instead, I was referred for a 'contact fitting' that I neither requested nor needed. This ended up costing me $80, and all I did was try on one pair of contacts. Additionally, I was given daily contacts, which were not what I wanted.

Greeneye losing my glasses on order was a blessing. I went to another optometrist in Waco and found out I had two cataracts and, more importantly, Fuch’s dystrophy. Before this optometrist proscribed glasses she sent me to a cornea eye surgeon. Neither cataracts nor Fuch’s was mentioned at Greeneye. Please do not entrust your eyes to Greeneye.

GO ELSEWHERE! I had an eye appointment in January. I was called back to the office shortly after leaving to come back to measure my frames.. I was then called back the next week that something additional was needed from my frames to complete the order. About 6 weeks passed I recieved. Call that the lab needed my frames to ship to the lab. Nothong was ordered . I have called several times leaving messages to get a refund thry will not return my call. Thid is now approaching 4 month with no glasses and no refund.

The absolute worst experience ever. Dr Green suggested contacts and when I could not get them out on my own told me she was in a hurry for a lunch appointment.Then I wanted new lenses for my sunglasses. I have been a patient with Green Eye Associates since 2017. I have learned that as long as you see Dr. Green your experience will probably be good. On the other hand, **** BEWARE **** of the "Associates". This year I agreed to see one of the "Associates" for my yearly visit. The "Associate" was very rude/ smart mouth. I was overly pressured to spend extra money for a picture of the inside of my eye. The experience felt more like I was being sold time share rather then an eye exam. I explained at the time I made the appointment that I would have to return to work after the exam and would not be willing to dilate at that particular time of the day. At that time I was told "no problem", however midway through the exam the associate was not happy with that and insisted I spend an extra $40 for a picture of my eye which I assume is the alternative to having your eyes dilated. In the end, the Associate told me that I need to "budget my time and money better next time". My wife had an appointment later that day but we canceled because of the behavior of the Associate. When canceling my wife explained the situation and we were assured someone would contact me later in the day to discuss what happened. At this time we still haven't been contacted by anyone. Again I just wanted to let readers of this review know to ****BEWARE ***** of making an appointment with someone other then Dr. Green.

2025 update: waited for three hours for what should have been a 30 minute lens cut appointment because the lens grinding machine broke. Got a backup pair made several months later and one of the lenses had obviously been made incorrectly. Waited three weeks before calling to see whether they were ready yet. They were, I had simply never been contacted.We’re all human and mistakes happen, but at this point it is less stressful to assume something *will* go wrong when working with this office, and no one is going to be particularly motivated to fix it or apologize. I love to support local small businesses, but after this much wasted time and general staff apathy trying to get two pairs of glasses just made correctly, I’ll be going elsewhere.——I've been a patient for three years and had a fine experience until yesterday. While I was in the reception area, the receptionist went on a tear with another patient making snide remarks about people who use they/them pronouns, stating loudly that "that's just not in the Bible." She went on to mock one of her male coworkers as barely counting as a man. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions, but to air them loudly and publicly at the literal entrance to one's place of work is appallingly unprofessional on every front. This incident does not incline me to recommend the office.

I thought I found a place that my family could call home and my last visit has changed that drastically for me.The only reason for the three stars are the doctors. Beyond the doctors, I can not visit this place.The not so gentleman in the back handling the materials area was not pleasant to deal with which is the to me but ordering glasses after my appointment.Went to the front desk to remedy the situation, but that was a fail as well. They boldly and rudely insisted that I did not have benefits to order new glasses. When in fact, I’ve been having the same insurance and benefits for the last 10+ years. Called insurance to verify and it was indeed benefits available. They just failed to do their job to assist me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Green's for several years and I have referred many people to her because she is wonderful. Today, I was able to experience the care of her and the staff when my son got something in his eye at school yesterday. I called this morning and explained the situation and they got me in to see Dr. Green within 45 mins. My son doesn't not do well with people messing with his eyes. Eye drops end up all over me and his face but not in his eyes, so I wasn't sure how this visit was going to go. Dr. Green was amazing with him. She explained everything she was going to do before she did it. She explained to him thoroughly what she found. She even had to get some debris out of his eye, put "paint" in his eye, numbing drops, and ointment, and she was able to keep him calm and get it down very quickly. Thank you to Dr. Green and your staff! Best in Waco for sure.

Had an appointment with Randa Rice for micro-blading. She did a great job. I was a bit nervous getting this done in Waco but she was recommended by a coworker.I’ve been driving to Frisco, TX to find much more experienced providers with hundreds and even thousands of overall good reviews. However, driving 4 hours round trip became a drag and the Frisco provider herds them in and out like cattle.Randa took her time and explained several things to me from beginning to end. It didn’t take her very long to complete either which is great since getting micro-blading isn’t exactly an enjoyable experience. She seemed to really care that I was pleased with the shape, color and technique. She lightened my color and filled in my faded spots. I’d recommend Randa for micro-blading for sure.

Just had a great experience at Green Eye Associates. From the time step in you'll notice the positive energy, or in other terms, somebody has been praying for the business and clients up in there. The place is clean and well decorated, the staff is kind and helpful, and the doctors are gentle yet competent. I saw Dr. Platt and she helped me talk through some eye issues I've been having, including color blindness. She was very knowledgeable and engaging. Both she and the entire staff not only look at your eyes and check them out, but also into them while you're talking. I felt heard and never rushed. I am very pleased and would highly recommend them.

Love the staff, drs... the ambience from the time you walk in is that of peace and pleasantness... very people centered and beautiful scriptures on the walls everywhere. Enjoy being there. Also very kind to work with me in making payments as I'm not able to work right now...love this group of Christian sisters and brothers...

I have never been to an eye doctor quite like this one... to say they are a level above the rest is merely an understatement! It was truly the best care I have ever received. They were quick, professional, polite, and informative. I received new contacts that were comfortable and correct my astigmatism well. I didn't buy glasses but the have a great selection. I highly recommend Green Eye Associates for any and all eye care needs!

Super Amazing Staff. Images taken without having to dilate and wear the goofy glasses all day! Top notch equipment! Checking in online had a few hiccups, but it wasn't a big deal. The check-in process in person was pretty fastI would highly recommend this office for all of your eye care needs.

I’ll have to say that Dr Green’s office atmosphere is likely the most positive office atmosphere I’ve ever been in. I noticed the positive and cheerful vibes from the minute I stepped in the door. It seems that each one working there loves it and that transfers to those of us there for help. Dr Green herself is a very cheerful and upbeat person and has successfully instilled the same in her staff.

I am a new patient at Green Eye Associates and they really impressed me. Dr Green and her staff provided a very thorough and extensive exam. My last eye exam was at Stanton Optical and I felt they were just rushing the exam so I would get out to buy the glasses. Dr Green took the time to ensure my prescription would be correct and continued until everything was fine tuned. She also thoroughly examined my retina for any potential problems. The whole staff provided great assistance and information. If you want to make sure you are going to get an excellent eye exam and to be treated with respect, then make an appointment with Green Eye Associates

A great experience overall!welcoming staff, nice and comfortable waiting area. the eye exam was very professional and all of my questioned were answered completely. They have a very large selection of frames here as well.They also can do custom lens for your frames, I brought in a pair of the Bose tenor frames and they were able to removed the non-prescription tinted lens and replaced them with prescription lens that I can wear whilst working on my daily tasks.will be scheduling my yearly eye exam here in from now on

I thought I wanted tri-focal glasses so that is what I asked for when I went here. After wearing them for two weeks they just weren't working for me. I took them back and they ordered bifocal but let me keep the glasses until the new lens came in, then they called me and put them in while I waited.This is the best glasses I have ever worn by far. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. I will never go anywhere else.

My exam with Dr. Green was very thorough. She took the time to fine tune my "baby prescription" which I greatly appreciate. Alissa was very helpful with my front desk inquiries. I'm also super excited to recieve my new glasses that Julie and Rhonda helped me pick out. I will definitely be returning here for future exams 🙂

Absolutely loved this office!! The staff was so nice and very attentive, they answered all my questions and were able to even adjust my prescription sunglasses I brought in! Even got a rebate for my contacts! Super excited to see them in the future!

My experience was awesome from the receptionist , two technicians and then Dr. Green. Each one of them treated me with compassion and explained everything that they were doing. When it came to get my new frame and lenses the lady was just awesome helped me pick out a pair that fitted for me. I love this treatment and will go back next year. So if someone is looking for a good place to go get eyes checked go to Green Eye Associates!♥️

I started wearing glasses and contacts since I was 12. In my teenage years as well as adulthood, I have been to multiple eye doctors but have not experienced such incredible care and service until yesterday at Green Eye Assoc. I went in for new eye and contact lens exam and from front door to exit, the environment, staff, and physician was amazing! Their customer service has definitely set a standard that all other service rendering companies/organizations should adhere to!

Just had a new patient exam and ordered some new contacts and glasses. I have never experienced such great customer service and personable people. What a great staff and friendly doctor!!!!! They really took the time to find the perfect prescription for me, suggested a new brand of contacts with a $100 rebate, and took time while I was being super picky with glasses to help me find the perfect pair! Again, a GREAT STAFF!!!

I was having a sensation that something was in my eye for about 2 months, off and on. I wanted to make an appointment but worried the feeling would be gone at my appointment and nothing would be found. I was driving by yesterday and stopped in. They were able to see me immediately! That is excellent care!

The staff here is friendly and professional. Dr. Green is a wonderful doctor. The office space is comfortable and very nice. I won’t go anywhere else as long as I live in Waco.
